Expectations in relationships often cause miscommunications, especially when they're unspoken. The impact of promises kept, however, makes relational deposits that prove a person's trustworthiness and devotion. This is exactly what God did when Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem on what would become known as Palm Sunday.
